Spa management software company ResortSuite now offers spa operators the capability of automatically implementing yield management techniques.
This is a process which allows them to maximise the booking of high-margin services during peak times with complete control and flexibility.
The system supports dynamic pricing - which is the ability to adjust service prices based on the time of day/day of week or spa capacity - and dynamic availability, which is the ability to restrict the booking of certain services based on the time of day/day of week or spa occupancy.
Prices for services will be adjusted automatically as yield rules apply, and staff will be notified as availability rules come into effect during the booking process.
ResortSuite says that spa yield management will become even more critical as spas offer online booking and there's no reservation specialist between the guest and the creation of the reservation.
